The twist is a great outdoor smoke. At least, the Cotton Bole is. Strong and raw in flavor, it fits with the smells of a shoreline or the woods.

Went out on the piss last night and visited the baccy shop! Bought a tin of Black XX Kendal twist. OMG that stuff is nice. Like a rich, spicy, earthy cigar type taste and stronger than any baccy I've tried so far! I've got a high tolernace to nicotine and two thirds into the bowl and a pint of beer and I had to let it rest for a few mintues as I started to really get a buzz,

Smoked a bowl this morning and it was equally as pleasant, not quite the buzz the first bowl gave but still warming and yummy.
I think what I like most about it is that it doesn't taste like the normal tin of blends or flakes or whatever I usually buy. Just a really natural taste with no adulterants like latakia to steal the show. Just raw and really satisfying. Deffiantely gona hunt for more twists to try now. SUper easy and fun to prepare too, pulled out my knife in the pub to cut off enough for my bowl which got me a few stares but it's so easy. Only need a sharp knife and bam, pipe heaven!
