I had a friend in college who could do that and he did it well ... I tried for a long time to blow even a simple ring, but have only created an occasional 'accidental' ring ... it's been many years since I gave up trying and I'm unlikely to re-visit the frustration of more failed efforts ... the old dog/new tricks adage applies.

The other week, I blew 30 in a row from a single puff. The tobacco was Erinmore Flake in my 317. Smoking indoors, of course. Yes, I'm pretty good at smoke rings, after smoking for almost 25 years.

I'm forced to smoke outside. So, if it's not too breezy I can usually do them. Haven't been doing them much lately though.

I'm another accidental smoke ringer. I have never been able to just do one trying.

When I started smoking cigars with my buddies at 16 we practiced this for hours. Needless to say now it's a piece of cake. My tip is to cradle your tongue like a bowl and use the movement of your mouth to push out the smoke, don't blow. Easy as that.
