I just got back from an event at an LA museum celebrating a new book on LA's lowrider car culture. Cars ran from a 1932 Ford Roadster to 2000s Chevys. In a couple there were holders for pipes -- the photos of this one didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but you may still get the idea. IMG_2215.jpegIMG_2214.jpeg

Seems like it would be very awkward to smoke stuck to the window like that.

I tried clenching while driving. It's doable. But, I can't tamp it. And don't want to where it seems everyone's doing 85 on 55.

My 98 Jeep Cherokee is the first vehicle I've owned with a built in ashtray In it. Fairly exciting to me when I bought it. However I've never used it because It fits my pipes perfectly as a stand.

When I bought my Durango, it had one of these phone mounts on the dash:

My wife got me a new mount last year, and the clip became a pipe holder. Just the thing if you have to run into the store mid-smoke, or you can have a pre-packed bowl ready if you've got a longer drive.
