I have a pair of Mizzous and a Huck Finn that I use for shorter smokes (in my case, closer to half an hour while walking), though I'm considering picking up a smaller briar or two. I have one of the Tsuge Blowfish, too, and it smokes quite nicely.

Check out Missouri Meerschaum Ozark Mountain Minis. They are cheap, small, and more durable than a cob because they are made of birch wood. They also look nice.

Stanwell makes their Harlekin line and the bowls are very very small. They're all threaded so you can change out bowls with stems.
They're pretty neat, I've got a half dozen of em I use as quickie smokes. I can post some pictures if you like.

Also I've got 2 mini briars that some pipe collectors might scoff at, but again they're superb for little quickie smokes. I often fill them with Borkum Riff (again, scoffable) for a nice little fix.

Most of my pipes are small. The smallest bowl is probably this Willmer lightweight, which gives me about a 70 minute smoke, but I mostly smoke flakes.

I don't understand the 10 minute pipe smoke. It takes me 15 minutes just to get one lit properly.

I'm the same as a couple of others here, I fill the bowl and smoke it throughout the day, no flavour loss here

Yikes... if it took me 15 minutes just to properly light up a bowl I seriously doubt that I would be smoking a pipe!

The Old Dominion Cobs are great for a shorter smoke. Also, don't overlook the Big Ben Pipo--inexpensive, small and cute looking--and it really works. It's a big hit on the Continent, and is beginning to make its presence felt over here. Highly recommended!

A few days ago I found a smoke shop that sell small briars for $23 they are about the size of a Dr. Plumb Dinky.

It should give you a 15 to 30 min smoke. I might get a couple for my work and knock around pipe

I have a collection of Savinelli's Piumas, which may be hard to find, because I have been buying every one that I can find, ha ha. But, they are .6" x 1" bowls. But, like Sallow, I can savor those for over an hour. That is my preferred bowl size for Virginias and VaPers. If I had just ten minutes, I'd probably just keep a loaded pipe handy and smoke by the clock, or just wait till I can actually enjoy a pipe. With the way nicotine is absorbed through the blood vessels of the mouth, (speaking of myself) "I" wouldn't get anything out of it. Even a small cigarillo can take me half an hour or more. I don't know much about those vape things, but it would seem that one of those would give you an addiction "fix" more easily than just a couple of long pulls off of a pipe. Just my opinion. I'm just thinking that it would give you more actual nicotine than a couple of pulls off a pipe (which won't give you much of anything), without hotboxing your tongue and not tasting anything in the process. I've seen a few vape pipes posted on here throughout the year. Not my cup of tea, but it might be a suggestion of sorts.

Happy smokes :puffy:
