Size of Rotation

Rotation, eh? Every time I wish to smoke a pipe I look at my 100 jars and pick one that fits my taste and mood at that moment. Having to smoke the same things over and over again on a fixed schedule before going to work where I do the same things over and over again on a fixed schedule would drive me nuts like a squirrel on heroin.

So do you guys just not open new tins you have not ried before until you finished an open tin?

Whenever I get a new tin in that I have not tried before I open it up right away. I buy new blends to see if they will make it to my rotation and eventually into my cellar.

I do the same and just jar it immediately, give it a week to rest, then I smoke it to give it a try. I do find that if I smoke the same blend day after day I taste nuances that I do not normally. It's like my palate gets trained to the flavors and I can identify them easier. But I just like smoking different blends constantly. I recently started smoking pipes and I am still in a tobacco slut phase wanting something new everytime I smoke.
