Found this while antique’ing - $22 and still has the tobacco in it! Googling a bit, there’s no good consensus on date range, but estimates range from before WWII to just after - so say 1930s to 1950s. Waiting for the replies that tell me to rehydrate and try it 🤣

If you're willing to do the work, you might be able to research and identify the revenue stamp on the bottom and that could give you a date range. There is enough of the stamp left for identification and that "SERIES 125" is a good clue. There are a lot of revenue stamp collectors out there so there should be some info. somewhere.

As to smoking it, I wouldn't. If you're correct about the age, trust me, it would not be a good smoke. There's a lot of tobacco out there to smoke and this should be kept sealed and as a collectible. puffy

Great call on trying to date it with the stamp - I’ll see what I can find.

Just smoked it and you’re correct - only worth it so I can say that I did 😂

I dumped it out about half way through because it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t enjoyable in the slightest.
