Signature Images

I was trying to change the image in my signature block.

I'm not sure how it works. The image in place now was carried over from the upgrade and the signature page seems to be asking for an image address. The image that was carried over maintains the address from the old forum. I'm not sure where to "load up" an image to replace the old one.

What am I missing?

I found a work-around. Load an image into a regular thread post, then you can copy the image location like we used to to get a URL for the signature image insertion box.

The forum platform we're using ironically has no feature for uploading a photo into your signature. Odd, since it's so easy to upload /insert photos into posts.

You have to put a url of a photo, as you figured out.

I'm glad folks have that option.

I now use this thread to post images that I want to put in my sig line, so I can get the required URL to do so. Others are welcome to use this thread for the same purpose.

That's what we had to do originally as well.

I only remember one member with a big signature image. Thankfully it hasn't been around in a while.

Edit: I should stress it was a rather large picture that seemed to load up everytime

I did this as an experiement as I had just uploaded it for another thread.
I would just as soon omit all such, unless you post only a few times a year!
