Just picked this up for a very reasonable price. Should clean up nicely.
Like everyone else, I will collect Dunhills to celebrate milestones in life. Here are the two I have currently
1. The first Dunhill should not be your birth year Dunhill but the year you gained consciousness - even before your birth. The Dunhill Shell On the right is 1976 - The year I gained consciousness. I bought it in July this year
2. The tan shell is my birth year Dunhill acquired today. 1977

The Charatan Collectors Society invited Dunhill and Barling collectors to display at their event at the WCPS in Las Vegas last Friday. In addition to the Charatan’s there were some very impressive Dunhill and Barling collections on display. Here my very humble group. ?
I truly love seeing how Dunhill shapes them pipes and stems, a stunning collection
An hour of gentle scrubbing with a toothbrush on the bowl and a two hour Oxyclean bath for the stem and she cleaned up beautifully
My two birth year Dunhills. 1961 Bruyere #39 Group 3 and 1961 Tanshell #104 Group 4. They are probably due for a clean and shine...

These are mine...the scribble is over a Hasso Baudis that I couldn't cut from the collage. Besides these I also have a handful of other Dunhill ephemera...some jars, tampers, etc.
A new to me 1977 Dunhill Bruyere 623 from our friends at the Swiss Pipe Shop.
It started as this. Replacement stem. Buffed until it went from shell to smooth. Topped and reamed with a pocket knife. And then I bought it and smoked it for three years...
Now, rather than toss it into the trash or a drawer where it is forgotten, it has become this and good for another three years...
