Here a Dunhill Bruyere 41674 R . I have never seen another one like it. Made in England 19. Rare and beautyful.

With a bit of imagination it has the shape of a yacht with its oval shaped bowl and a wave with the curved stem.

Ofcourse Dunhill Royal Yacht is the tobacco for this pipe. The tin shown here is still sealed and vacuüm, no sound when shaking.

But for now I still use it with the Murray version from the '90s.

I've sold a lot of Dunhills over the years. Two are keepers. First, my birth year pipe: a Shell Briar Friendly. And this '69 Bruyere prince group 2. This came from a good friend (no longer living) who had a pipe store on the Internet back in 1997. He had this one for sale for $55 due to a cracked shank (which he fully disclosed). I bought the pipe because it was a cheap Dunhill and the guy was a friend. I then took it to Dick Silverman, proprietor of Chief Catoonah's Tobacconist, and a master tobacco blender in my book, to have it repaired. Dick packed it off to his regular repairman, one Mr. Mark Tinsky, for a sterling silver band. So this humble Dunhill has quite a lineage in my book. (Sorry for the lousy photo.)

An all original Dunhill E17 'prince' pipe from 1925.

Marked:
Dunhill London , "Inner tube" , Pat No 5861/12 5 (with underscore.)
The original innertube with Pat No and the stem with the original Reg. No.

The bowl is very much as it was 95 years ago on the out and inside. This pipe has not been used but very often in the past century.

For me it was a very nice 'ebay find' last year... Very bad pictures and only one more bidder starting at 125, euro.
Upon receipt I have only cleaned it on the outside with ethanol 98% and later with some Dunhill pipebowl polish and a little bit of Dunhill mouthpiece polish.
A few weeks later I gave it a double carnaubawax layer to make sure that I can use it when & where I want, like I do now. :)

Can anybody help identify this Dunhill? I’ve gone through the internet but can’t seem to find it. Picked it up today at an antique mall. Nomenclature:

11011 Dunhill Bruyere
