I (foolishly) thought creating this thread would help convince me that I could live vicariously through you guys and not buy an Alden. To no one's surprise but me, it's done the exact opposite.

The forum is like aversion therapy for me. I tend to be drawn to carvers and brands rarely seen here if at all.
