I figured Molina pipes do not get enough love on this forum. They show up here and there in comments and folks seem to like how these not overly expensive Italian tools perform. However, I did not find a dedicated thread for these fine smokers. So if you own a Molina pipe, or two, show us what you got.

And since I received a Shorty 123 (my first Molina) in the mail today I will start.

I like Molinas! I use these when I've got dregs to use up or I'm in a rush. They're pretty tiny. Three of the four are great smokers, the other is okay.

I'm super-ambivalent about these two Molina Pisas. I love the way the bowl is cut, but I hate the stems & neither is brilliantly drilled. One day I'm going to commission a scaled down version with a normal stem & then I'll be able to get rid of them in good conscience.

This is my only other Molina. It's on the small side & the only new one of the bunch - & one of my best smokers. I'd get rid of a bunch of much more expensive pipes before this one.

Finally my March acquisition has arrived. Been waiting for it. It is Molina Barasso saddle stem billiard (model 104). Yet to smoke it. PAD has been strong and steady here recently. 50CA822D-3639-4A7B-9142-8AEE028CA413.jpeg

I'm impressed. I thought Molina might be one of these brands that just isn't owned by Forums members. A few brands are rarely mentioned or pictured. I could be wrong, but I think the Danish Johs brand and the English brand Britannia might be rare in that way. Probably some others. I'm glad to see Molina is out there, and jiminks has three, though only one is smoked. Hmmm. As many North Carolinians as are on Forums, I think there may be only one other who owns pipes by home-state carver Jerry Perry, Colfax N.C., who sells only at the State Fair and the Taps pipe show at the Fairgrounds.

I have 12 Molina pipes of various styles and shapes and every one is a great smoker. To me they are the best pipe for the money. I have more expensive pipes, but they don't smoke any better than my Molinas.

I own only one Molina, gifted to me by a friend on another forum. It's one of my only full bent pipes, and the only one that takes 9mm filters. I use the large balsa inserts and smoke OTCs and aros from it, and it works very well. I think it's marketed as a starter model.
