BTW: Clayton’s does a good job. Even others who are well-known eBay sellers/restorers can be a little sloppy with stem renewal. Clayton’s is thorough and they come up with interesting stuff too.

The vulcanite CB used in the Mincer days must have been high quality. This stem seems that way. ⬆️

I am posting these because they are still under the umbrella of custom-built pipes
Saw this on eBay listed under unknown maker as the stamping is rubbed down but I could tell it was a Courtley Supreme. I've been scooping these up for very reasonable prices versus how much the real deal cost

I have this old Rogers Rarity, which from what I can find online was made by Custombilt in the 40s.
It smokes really well. I should smoke it more than I do.
