If you order from B&B from the U.S., are there customs hassles? I like the pipes, but dread paying that much again for crossing the border.

Posted this the other day in the December 'what are you smoking' thread - the bottom two pipes are both Blatter & Blatter (apologies for the very dark pic, really doesn't show them off well). I'm planning on making a visit this or weekend to pick up a new one Will try to get some pics in a better light when I get the next.

~ I don't think you should get too badly knocked. The pipes are entirely made in Canada, so still NAFTA applicable (no duties on goods made in Canada, Mexico of the USA). You might get dinged with local sales tax. I'm going to stop by on Friday or Saturday, I'll ask them.

Funny, no date stamp on this one. The rest of B&Bs from this collection are all from mid to late 70’s. This one will be in that range for sure.

Some slightly nicer pics with hands to get scale - the Canadian is a Majeur (big) and the bulldog is a Regulier (shape 9).

Best to go in and you can take a look at the grain and the fills yourself. When I bought these pipes they were plain waxed briar, they got a lot darker with age/use.
