That is gorgeous, I've been in the market for a Jack Howell but they seem to be so hard to come by.Jack Howell small jewelry
He used to throw up a spec pipe every Wednesday, don't know if he still does though. That's how I got mine. Have you tried to contact him? That is gorgeous, I've been in the market for a Jack Howell but they seem to be so hard to come by.
Agreed, that's how I got mine. He's a pleasure to commission.Have you tried to contact him?
I've been to his website, they all say out of stock. Would I just email him which one I like and he'll make one? I've never commissioned a pipe before so I'm not sure of the process. ThanksAgreed, that's how I got mine. He's a pleasure to commission.

I don't know if I can afford that, I could only swing the $200 to $250 range. "Unfortunately", I was able to pick up a Chris Askwith for next to nothing and now I'm hooked on artisan hand mades. Even the one Dunhill I have seems boring in comparison. Like most guys here, my tastes are bigger than my budget! Why not commission one from him? Thanks, I checked yesterday but I didn't see anything. He used to throw up a spec pipe every Wednesday, don't know if he still does though. That's how I got mine. Have you tried to contact him?
Frankly, I found Jack's prices extremely reasonable, especially when compared to other fine carvers. If he stuck a Danish name on what he does some idiot would pay 5 times the amount.I don't know if I can afford that, I could only swing the $200 to $250 range. Yes I'v been in contact with him by email and he is really great. Not to be that person (but, yeah, totally being that person). Chris is also a pleasure to work with & a touch cheaper than Jack - though also over your budget: Gallery - http://www.askwithpipes.com/gallery.html
