Not exactly a hobbit hole, but cozy enough for me:

The marina has some nice places when I'm not on the boat:

Or when the weather is nice any public beach or quiet place will do:

Although normally I'm boringly cooped up in my basement apartment here at my parents for smoking, not next to my unimpressive collection......I thought tonight was worth posting!

You guys have nice clean areas to smoke. How about this area? If you look behind the chainsaw, you can see the torpedo heater that helps when there is snow on the ground. I really need to get a chair in here. Usually I lean against one of the lathes.
FYI, after a couple of hours of bowlturning, the wood chips can be 18" high. I try to keep the area clean.

winton, that's pretty crude smokin territory there.....at least get a chair to relax in. I have one of the fold up camping chairs that I got at Gander Mountain that has 3 seating positions.

Not very eligant, but sure is a lot of fun! I have all the tools I can fit in there and tons of wood to work with. While I smoke, I plan the next project. It has been my fortress of solitude for about a decade.

My son finally moved out on the 1st and I get his room for my "cave"!

This is cause for celebration. Really.

So here is what I have to work with this morning, let the transformation begin (-:

Well all the talk of walks outside got me inspired today, so after I went to pick up some cat food, I took a long detour home. English Chocolate in my Chacom.
