not a great pic but that is my oldest pipe and I've owned it longer then about half of my co workers have been alive.View attachment 384105
The story with this pipe was I had my eye on a churchwarden that was like 40 bucks or something. The owner of the pipe shop refused to sell it to me until their march sale (50 percent off most pipes). I go in the day the sale starts and he says someone bought it. I was not surprised and he offered me this one for the price of the one I wanted to buy (pre sale price) and I've never gotten what the price was going to be out of him. It' a Brebbia by the way, feel free to figure out what a deal I got on it.
Other thing. Years ago I quit tobacco for a year (stupid mistake, should have just quit cigs), this pipe literally survived the cull. It was too precious to get rid of. I did lose a tyrolean that actually smoked great. One question for brebbia why did they stop using the smoking gnome. He was cool and everyone loved him.

Vegas Baby!!!
This is easy. I love my Pete’s but the pipe going into the crematorium with me is my late 1800’s Loewe Egg. Ryan Alden restored it with a new stem and fitted the original stem, an albatross wing bone, with a ferrule so I can actually use it and with the briar foot it a tamper. I love everything about this pipe. My job has dark sides, all I see is death and destruction. This pipe has definitely been a comfort. It’s kinda crazy.

Reaching for that one would definitely make me smile, even on a dark day!
