Ain't that the truth. Once you acquire one you've been coveting, instantly another moves into it's place. I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do if I go to the Richmond show....Haven't been to a pipe show before, so it'll be interesting.

Castello Collection Fiammata Churchwarden (very rare, smokes terribly, but looks great, she gets very little active smoking time).

Ser Jacopo Smooth Churchwarden. Massive pipe, group 6 vs ODA size. Fantastic smoker. She gets lots of love and gives it back in return.

My very first pipe: an inexpensive (~$ 45 CAD) Vincenzo churchwarden. It doesn't see much use anymore, since I've grown more oriented towards filtered pipes, which let me puff harder with less bite.
Dublin Churchwarden
I've been thinking of putting something in it a number of times, but every time I grab that pipe and sip air through it and/or smell the bowl, it sends me back to those idle days when I was starting to smoke a pipe. I'm a nostalgidiot, I guess, and so the pipe just continues to sit in the rack, cakeless and unsmoked.

I like churchwardens. They are great for smoking on the back porch and relaxing.

From bottom to top: Jan Zeman (retired) Middle Earth; 10 knuckle Bamboo Dunhill warden from 1952; Myon pipe from Florida that started as a shorty stem, but I KNEW would look better as a warden... the thing smokes great!; Basket Italian warden from my friend who quit smoking; MM MacArthur classic; A 2008 Dunhill Chestnut that I got from Foggy... The man has great taste in pipes!; No name Meer Warden from the '70's that is unsmoked; $25 meer that no one else bid on cuz the seller had a name that looked like the chinese scammer a few months back... that one is smoked. =)

Also have a Linkman's Churchwarden. Still haven't fixed the stem. So busy. sigh.

Neat Meerschäume you've there!
I wonder, though, if you're not s'posed to touch the Meerschaum with your hand/fingers, but hold it by the stem, how do you smoke those? Wear gloves?
