The one in the left a Billard was purchased new, the one on the right was purchased from Dave Neeb as an estate, wanted to see what Harris was talking about , he was right!

jgriff, that is a beauty, I am sure it will not be your last. Do you love how it smokes?
Bradley, both are great looking, and I do know you enjoy smoking them.

While there are other artisans out there, I rarely venture out of Rad's Realm. For $400 new for a blast, it is simply the best bang for the buck. I have 10 Rads now and am quite thankful that Harris turned me on to true smoking bliss.

Chris, that collection is looking awesome. I am so glad you are happy with all your Rad's. For my money no one makes a better pipe even at 3 times the price.
Since this thread started I have added two more Rad's.

Those are beauties!
I have confirmed with Rad a new birthday pipe for myself = a very bent (as much as he will bend) Rhodesian.
Can't wait.

Harris - TO answer your question, I do like how it smokes in general but I still haven't found that perfect blend in it yet. Pots are always a little tricky and I suspect it will favor English blends but I don't tend to smoke them until it gets a little colder. But the stem feels great in the mouth and the balance is awesome.

jgriff, hopefully you will find the perfect blend. I do not own any pots as they are too wide for my flakes.
Thanks Allan. Can't wait to see what he makes for you, should be awesome.

Harris, that collection is stunning. I suggest you pack those up and head to Glamour Shots for some nice portraits.

An artisan pipe is a bit outside my budget, so I can't comment on how they smoke. But aesthetically, these Rad pipes are my favorites. Stunning.
One day I'll buy one. Maybe Harris will grow tired of his and barter -- let me know if you're ever in need of a dairy goat or some nice show quality chickens.

Here is my Rad Davis commission, a Canted Tomato Morta with bamboo shank and amber colored stem, this was his first Morta.

Here is mine - I got it at the Columbus show two years ago. It was a estate pipe that had been barely used. It is pretty big for a Rad Davis.

With Rad's pipes you can usually find them on his site and see what they looked like new and how much they originally cost. Mine is the top left pipe on the link.

Rad made me this sandblast squat tomato churchwarden.

It's a big beefy bowl 2 1/2 inches across with a 3/4 bore.

Here's mine. I bought all of them as estates so I hope none are counterfeit. They smoke great, especially the long one, so I'm fairly positive they're his.
