Yes, that’s how it used to work. I received an email this morning indicating they are now using some outfit called Evri instead of USPS and so I went to that site and the tracking number isn’t valid with them. So we’ll see if SP EU follows up further.

Well, it's been 13 days actually in transit and I'm hoping SP EU is able to shed some light on where it may be. AN Post has a new tracking service which is actually more terrible than I remember the previous, but I've never really cared much because pipes used to make it over and be delivered in a reasonable time. My last order took much longer than normal and this one in terms of tracking is allegedly in the U.S. (I'm guessing in NYC) but has vanished, so we'll see what happens. Would love to get it, if not I'll get a refund, but I was about to place an order for a pipe I can only find there for someone as a gift, decided I'd see why mine hasn't shown up and now I'm a bit hesitant to order from them, and I've always had great experiences in the past overall.

Here's one of my Peterson pipes, it's a Hansom from the Sherlock Holmes series. I've been smoking it for about fifteen years and it's still enjoyable. I've always liked its Bent Bulldog shape.

I also purchased one mine has been stuck on “your item is being sorted by the receiving post” sense the 22nd. Hopefully they are just packed up.

So an update - it showed up late morning via USPS, what the heck, and never showed up on any tracking here. So they say they don't use USPS, but this other outfit over here. However, no record the other outfit ever touched it and whomever arranged it with USPS could have been a "hand off" but can't even figure who they are, lol - came out of New Jersey so I won't ask too many questions! I let SP EU know it had arrived and what little I have to offer for info.

Good news also = no customs charge.

If you order from SP EU just be prepared to have no idea when it will show up or who has it, and simply expect that you'll get a pleasant surprise 2-3 weeks after they ship. Works for me.

Glad it came - to me it has a really interesting look.

Love the Pub Pipe- I have 3 bent Pubs & my second straight Pub is on the way.
HA! It looks like I may end up with a 7 day set of Peterson Pubs! Got the Smooth, Blasted & Rusticated for bents, with Rusticated & Blast for the straights. Need a smooth straight, and then something like Hawkeye's for that 7th day!
