Gorgeous Pipe! I have never seen the shape, how does it compare to an XL15 or the 80s? Also please let me know if you ever decide to part with it

When it comes to Petes - pre 1990 system Premiers are one of my favorites.

Always loved the 308s. Still have one, but they hard to find these days on the estate market...
Oh what a beauty. Thats the next best shape compared to the 314.
I agree and although ithe 314 looks a bit "standard" or unintriguing, it is a big contender for best pipe shape, at least in my books. Here are my two 314s a pre 1968 Premier and a 40s

I have two 317s. One was my Ulster grandpa’s and the other is fairly new. They are my only bent Peterson’s. The rest of my pipes are 1/4 bent or straight. The problem with the 317s is that when I’m clenching and exhale through my nostrils I blow ash and embers all over my lap, damnit. Is this why my grandpa’s tweeds had burn holes everywhere?

I had literally just been looking at the PPN blog on the ‘24 POY release for about the thirtieth time, then perused the ‘bay for 309’s before I clicked on the forum and saw it’s ad here-four days to cross the pond and clear to here.
I told ya my next Pete would be two favorite colors: black and chrome
