I'm selling a 314 system standard, smooth finish. Shipping from Canada. DM me if you want to see it before I list it.Thanks, that helps narrow it down. I think the 314 might be what I’m after.

Tempting offer but I just snagged a Halloween 314. Thanks though!I'm selling a 314 system standard, smooth finish. Shipping from Canada. DM me if you want to see it before I list it.
Apologies for the shameless sales pitch![]()
Too much black, mate, for my liking. The Peterson Halloween 2025 pipe is available on Smokingpipes.eu. It looks strikingly like the Dunmore series but in all black. While I am not a fan of Seasonal pipes generally, this one seems to have a simple elegance or formality to it not seen in some time, in my opinion -- like a tuxedo pipe.

Not thrilled with it in the ferrule nor the stem. But the all black does offer something.
And FWIW, the acrylic on acrylic gives a nice tight fit.
But do you really want it to be lonely?Tempting offer but I just snagged a Halloween 314. Thanks though!
I used to agree until I got my Vauen Olaf bent egg sandblast and they really are workhorse pipes that require less care. Now I appreciate them mainly for their ruggedness and durability.Too much black, mate, for my liking.
My next Pete will be black and chrome, like my scooter.Too much black, mate, for my liking.
I will be playing with some gold and silver plating soon, for the lighters and I will see what I can do about it. This is one is for me so I guess at some point it will loose all of its plating. The briar looks great, but to my eyes it looks like you lost most of the gold? That's what I was concerned about with mine, so I moved it along.
If your going to get into this hobby, you really ought to get seriousI will be playing with some gold and silver plating soon
First play the serious... Maybe... I am still waiting for the 48h day or cloning to become a thing..If your going to get into this hobby, you really ought to get serious![]()
Silver and gold plating is quite the undertaking!First play the serious... Maybe... I am still waiting for the 48h day or cloning to become a thing..![]()
For my own sake , I hope you are at least a little but wrong here, but I have 0 experience so I guess we will see. From researching it doesn't look so bad.Silver and gold plating is quite the undertaking!

B42 is half-bent, so it cannot be "closer to chin".Question for the Pete guys with the Halloween pipes coming out soon - I like my 302 but I’d like a shape that is shorter and hangs closer to the chin. Is the 317 super duper tiny? I know it’s got a much smaller bowl but it’s hard to get a feel for how it hangs (so to speak). I thought maybe 317 or 303, or say screw it and get a big B42 anyway because I think the shape is more beautiful.
I have the same story on several pipes, including POY 2017 with hallmark of 2016. I have no clue why, nut I suppose, production could be started some earlier ;-)they started production in 1991, mine is actually from 1990.
