That is just amazing. Nice work. And @AroEnglish got his gap back! Enjoy.

Tapered stems make the deluxe pipes look so much better.

Out of curiosity, was the chimney able to transfer? Also, just in general, don't all deluxe models come with a chimney of sorts? I've seen a few estates without and was guessing they got lost or tossed.
The original stem did come with a chimney. Rustie asked me if I wanted a new one made but I told him to just reuse the old one. I’m sure it’s in the new stem he cut.
Thank you 😊.
I did indeed transfer the chimney to the new stem. IMG_7952.jpeg

I never liked the 9S
Thems fightin words… 😡😡😂😂😂
The 9, 9S, 9BC, 307, XL90 are all that is great about Peterson!

Obviously just kidding, but I do love all things 9 including the 9S. The 20 is a close second in my favorites of the Deluxe and Standard lineup.

The 20s and 9s both look a little better with a shorter taper stem in my opinion.

So I posted my new J&H over on the Halloween threat. It’s a nice B42.

Then another poster showed off his Halloween B42 with Day Glow orange stem.

In an effort to sanitize my eyes I went on Smoking Pipes and search B42.

Some nice pipes popped up, I honestly don’t need more pipes, especially another B42….

So anyway, here’s my new B42 Deluxe

It’s finally here!!! Big shout out to my man @Brew&Briar for finding this pipe and connecting me to the seller. Could've probably bought this and put it up on eBay or held it as trade bait but instead let me have it.

I’m starting to think I like the tarnished silver look better than when it’s polished.

Three down, two to go!

2/3 in with the first bowl in a ‘23 Christmas X11 - loving the draw, easy sipper. @ashdigger - the fishtail is definitely a bit of a mouthful but I’m finding it an easy and surprisingly relaxing clencher after getting used to it and finding sweet spot for position. Good pipe for reading - looking forward to some favorite Xmas literature in another 5-6 weeks. IMG_3162.jpeg

Nice pipe I’m debating on squeezing the trigger on one.

Here’s an unbelievable picture. A 1904 Pete Meer with 7 stems, two 1909 Peterson Reissues, a 313 with NAP and Spigot stems.

After @RustiePyles CPG did some amazing stem work he boxed them up and sent them UPS. They were delivered 90 miles away from my house. After a few days, I drove to the Post Office they were delivered to.

They denied receiving them and blamed UPS tracking. UPS blamed USPS.

The value of the pipes is not for the faint of heart.

I was just about to give up and realize the worlds only 1904 Pete Meer with 7 stems was lost to the janitor.

Well, today, without any tracking updates, they were delivered by USPS to my house.

Funny how that works. Anyway. Here’s the contents of the box
