I have a few paneled pipes, like these Barling Quaints:

So I really don't have any panel pipes in my collection at all. However...I was at my tobacconist the other day and he was going through a pile of estates when he came across this very strange pipe bowl (btw, if anyone knows what this went to originally, please enlighten me), he was about to toss it since it really served no purpose with the the rest of the pipe, when I asked if I could have it. I had a plan...
Here's the original pipe bowl:

I sanded it down and polished it, than did a simple oil finish, I then put a kirsten pipe adapter on it, it took a long screw, but I got it to fit.

New life to a pipe bowl that almost got thrown away. So, there...my one and only panel pipe with a story behind it.

I have two panel pipes, both 9mm:

The Rattray's Marlin is a No. 4 bent shape. When I got it on sale for around seventy dollars, I wasn't sure I wanted a flat-sided pipe but I liked the briar.

The other pipe is a Dunhill Shell Briar, 2007... panelled all the way onto the stem. I must now say, 'I like me some panels' -- as that one went for seven hundred.

Didn't know this was here, but based upon snowyowl's prompt, I will include my very own design here that I carved myself from a pipe kit. Might have a custom stem cut for her by a top notch gent in my pipe club who does a really nice job.
