I was busy writing an entire novel on the WAYS thread about my naughty little excursion from the room today. It is Meerschaum Monday, afterall. And all i have while travelling is a few meers. Couldn't resist! :P

Did i get the right answer? 50/50 odds. Not bad...

I traded it with a friend a few weeks ago but if it was your birth year I could have switched it for your rusticated one... A complex maneuver but totally doable.

Ah! Fitting that your response also happened to be the start of page 77. ;)

In my best Yoda voice: "Good timing, you have."

@Dshift I was doing it the hard way but predrilled blocks are available.
Embers, Have you ever used a coloring bowl ? I am asking because I recently saw a Peterson 309 go for sale on ebay and the original owner smoked it with a cork bottomed coloring bowl instead of using the chamber and I was wondering if all coloring bowls are the same or do they come in sizes and where would one buy one if they wanted to do or try that ? If you know ... ??? Thank you in advance for any advice !

Never tried one but there are some briar coloring bowls from a Chinese distributor if you'd like to give one a try without spending a fortune.

OK, thanks, I saw those but I don't see the point as it defeats smoking meerschaum as opposed to a meerschaum bowl on top of briar. It was just a thought. I will probably just repair my meerschaum stem and smoke that.
