Finally got the macro lens out to get a snap of the color on my Nate King meer prince:

The pipe is a solid cream color now with a bit of a line/divide showing up about mid-bowl, but most of the color are these spots on the pencil-shank stem and around the rim/in the bowl (obviously).

Not quite the crazy patterns you see on those 'translucent' meers but it's starting to get interesting!
