Other than the occasional MM, I’m only buying Meerschaum pipes from now on. So as not to go crazy, I’ve made a deal with myself that I will only be acquiring 1 pipe per year. This is my 2021 pipe...an IMP bent billiard with honey swirl stem & a church warden stem on the side. I love it and can’t wait to get this thing dirty. ️

Just as I'm contemplating reducing my collection to a couple of 7-day sets, I picked up a new meerschaum (the AKB Floral Volcano in the background). Also featuring my Nate King meerschaum prince with a titanium band, possibly the best smoker in my collection right now.

My teacher in college (almost 40 years ago) preferred his Bauer and Capstan. I was also a pipe smoker then and wanted to own and try a a Bauer. But I probably found them a little too expensive then, so I never got to own one until I found below in an antique shop, on a lucky trip with my son, a few years ago.

Well if I hadn't planned poking around ebay to see what was out there, this thread would have pushed me in that direction anyway...some beautiful pipes guys. This is the first I ever got. A gift from the wife, probably should get smoked more often than it does. 1 of 3 I currently have.
