The diamond logo is on almost every briar stamping. Stem treatment is another story.

LHS made over 500 shapes and a undetermined amount of models. I’m still finding stuff I’ve never seen or heard about.

No doubt, the smooth finish pipes are the most sought after, but these days I have to take what I can find! So when I bid on an Ebay Purex based on dark, blurry pictures I wasn't sure what I would get.
Lucked out this time. It's a NOS Purex in the original (I think) box. I'm not a fan of the deeply carved finish but I'll take it.

Not my thing at all but I kind of dig that carving/shape combo. Nice score.
Yes, same here. For me it's having a nearly 80 year old pipe that looks like it just came off the store shelf. For fourteen bucks I couldn't pass it up.

Hi, Newbie here, would someone help me to date (approx) this pipe please ? It,s written LHS Durbar and seems to be hand carved. I got it for 3$ in a yard sale. I guess I did well ?

The Durbar was a post-war model introduced in the Fall of 1947. It retailed for $2. I don’t know how long it was manufactured.
