In the sticks in Mississippi
My one and only Kaywoodie, a "Minaret", made in England.

Not sure of the date, but it has the 4-hole stinger. It's a Matched Grain apple. Lovely briar and a sweet smoke (stinger notwithstanding).

Sorry I am late to the party on this one gents. I don't know how I missed it. I am a dedicated Kaywoodie fan . Here are a few of mine on racks and a few waiting in the wings to be cleaned and restored.

Gary, wow, what a collection of Kaywoodies! Great pipes. I recently purchased a second Kaywoodie, new, a

Saxon with a push bit. About a year ago, I bought a Ruff-Tone author with the screw stem stinger, which

doesn't quite sit horizontal but smokes fine. For those who want new pipes, I think these are still good

products, especially the push bit versions.

Smokeybear, that looks almost exactly like the one I picked up at an antique shop for $10. I love the shape.
Gary, Shazaaaaaaam! Nice collection

Hopefully of some interest; Kaywoodie catalog from late 1960s (judging by prices). Kaywoodie pipe almanac dated 1941. A small leaflet and dealer price lists from 1961 and 1963.

Interestingly the catalog and 1963 price lists have the top grade birdseye and straight grain pipes $100 a piece. The most expensive Dunhill in the 1962 Iwan Ries catalogue on the amazing pipe pages website is $35.

Here are my Kaywoodies. I am not sure of any of the years, so if anyone can shed some light, please let me know! I got the Standard Billiard, the Flame Grain Dublin, and the "500," along with a Kaywoodie bowl for $14.00. Unfortunately, the bowl did not come with a stem, and the stinger was broken off in the mortis. I was pleased with this find on eBay. I got the lovat on eBay as well.

This looks like a pretty good deal for a Handmade, still has what looks like the 4-hole Stinger (Shiny Pipes isn't a much loved vendor, but I had a good experience with them).

What's the deal with Shinypipes? wouldn't mind knowing as a buyer beware type deal, not looking for drama just wondering as I am new and trying to figure out who is good and who I should be wary of.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but if you search for Shiny Pipes here, you'll find a lot of unhappy customers with numerous photo-shopped pictures in ads. (my lone pipe was perfect) That Handmade was sold this morning.
