How did you get the antlers to stay put?
Yep,mainly held by screws. On the second stand the antler sets into a hole drilled with a forstner bit about 1/4" deep. Then drilled with a small drill bit all the way through. Bottom side is countersunk

I actually have a few knots from some wood I was splitting last year and saved for some reason. I knew I wanted to use them for something and that just inspired me.

I've made a few from "knots" etc I found when splitting firewood.

Wow, I love the look of that spalted wood in the second one, ejames. Is it maple?

Ryan,IIRC it is spalted maple.
