I really, really liked the Savinelli Luisa Fiammata release. I was on smokingpipes as soon as it launched, and I was lucky enough to snap up this 614 in the smooth finish as soon as it popped online. It's number 3/50. I can't wait to break it in!

Ooft!!! What an absolute stunner! I love the 614 and this might be the best I’ve seen. I do wish they would make some with tapered stems.

I just love this Savinelli series. As someone who received an $8 pair of binoculars for my 10-year work anniversary, I appreciate how Savinelli honored their long-time employee Luisa Bozzetti. This is how it's done!

So there's that. But as it turns out, when the Factory Director gets to choose the briar and finish for their final project, the results are stunning!

I bought a pair of Savinelli 673's in the Luisa Fiammata series. One for me, one as a birthday present for my brother. It will be his first briar.
