Smooth, do you know if Unger's book is still in print?
I once had a couple of Custom-Bilts and for some reason got rid of them.
Then one of my dear old friends had to stop smoking and gave me his. I will get a photo up on it soon.
I'd love to read Unger's book. I an a member of the NASPC and bought the Rich Lewis NASPC Pipe of the Year honoring Unger and Mincer. Great Pipe.

I am unsure if they are still printing Bill Unger's book, I was lucky enough to be pointed in right direction during there last run but that was over a year ago. This is the EMail address I was given then. NASPC@graphictouch.biz

Love the Custom-Bilts and Custombilts for both the rugged, manly aesthetic and the functional smoking qualities! I have a couple of 'nothing special' versions (except to me, one being my G-dad's) of which I'll share some photos when I snap a few. Love the THICKNESS of the bowls, I've always experienced good smokes with thicker walled pipes.
