Thanks! That's a red bakelite and ivory stem. When I commissioned it as a Christmas pipe, Bruce was doubting how the ivory and bakelite would look together, but both of us were pleased with the result.

Oh boy, I can't see this thread going well for me!
I would love love love to pick up a nice Christmas 2015 pipe. It was then that my wife told me she was pregnant with our son - truly a Christmas miracle. There was a nice one on the classifieds here but I hummed and hawwed for too long and lost it.
Ahh well, the search continues!

My first Christmas pipe was a Savinelli Saint Nicholas 2016 311 KS. I enjoy it so much I pick up a 315 KS in 2017. No reason to stop now. Will likely find a Savinelli I like in the coming years.
