WOW! Most young pipe smoking Cavalrymen such as myself have idols such as Patton or MacArthur, I however now have changed my mind and Peck, you my friend are now towards the top of the totem pole, outstanding cellar man! All of you have awesome cellars!
@ papipeguy, Love the guitar collection!
@ cigrmaster, you have a solid collection going and I am fairly certain that my cellar will be up to par with yours one day in quantity but more along the same storage methods. I feel like I am going to have baccy everywhere, the wife will LoooooooVE that! haha
@ cmdrmcbragg, That tobacco cabinet you have is really cool, what was it originally?

@ metalheadycigarguy - Dude, I really like your idea of having a small bar /cellar going on thats a great idea. Thats a good looking stash too.
@ smokeybear - Great variety you have going on man, the locker really would throw off possible intruders or friendly tobacco enthusiasts who cant keep their hands off your aging stash, and the printer seems like an added security measure as if to say "all normal here, there is no tobacco in this locker I am sitting on" (simultaneously printing out a sheet stating) "This is not the locker you are looking for"

@elliot, nothing special about the cabinet. Bought it from the local furniture store. Should've bought the bigger one in the collection but this one was cheaper and looked cooler.

I told you guys my cellar is way less than Peck's, now seeing is believing. Now in reality, I have a good chance of smoing my entire cellar in 25 years where as Peck will not smoke his in 3 lifetimes. I smoke around 9.5 to 10 pounds a year where peck is lucky to smoke 4 pounds a year. Peck's kids are going to be freaking rich when they eventually sell off his stash.
Elliott, I am sure you will get to your goal with perseverance and it is full of blends you love to smoke. When I decided to go balls to the walls on mine, I had sampled a ton of stuff so that I did not cellar any tobacco that was not something I loved smoking. My cellar consists of only 28 different blends all of which I really enjoy smoking.

I've been jarring up small half ounces of every blend I've had so that I can try them out after some aging and see if I want to buy more because of how I like it with some age on it. Thanks to this forum and everyone's ridiculous cellars I can focus my efforts instead of just having large supplies I have no clue about, plus I got a leg up from the starting line thanks to all of your discourse on the topic of cellaring, storage and aging.
I can't put in giant orders though and don't have the space right now to go bananas. I make sure every order to get enough to cellar some (usually four tins, one of which I smoke) and also something new I haven't had before. So my last order was four tins of Three Nuns and a tin of Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls. See if the navy Rolls could warrant some space in my cellar.

@elliot - its nice having all my stuff in one area. The only thing I don't have in there are my cigars. The shop is not temp controlled the same way the house is, so they stay in the house. I'm running out of room in that cabinet though, so I'm gonna have to get creative on how I sort and store my stuff.

@ Peck, Holy Sheep Dip Batman, you may want to start shoring up your shelves, perhaps check your foundation since you are cornering the market on.....every blend:)

Wow, I'm feeling pretty lame. I've got about 7.5 pounds, and it all fits in a copier-paper box...

Well, here is my meager cellar, although I don’t consider it as my 'cellar'. I simply refer to it as my, well...

tobacco! I suppose that if I had to give it a name I world refer to it as my ‘stash’. lol
I keep the unopened tobacco in a cabinet in my office, and the opened tobacco in Mason jars which I keep in a large cooler in my basement.

you guys with mucho big cellars - ever considered INSURANCE or maybe not - as hoarding could eliminate your entire house insurance due to fire hazard - not so easy to inquire with your ins agent
oh well i just drool as a canadian - not sure how peck does it but i order only 200gm per order hoping not to get hit too often - @ 200gm /week how long to reach 600lb - - nope - i dont even have that long to be around
happy smoking all

I wouldn't worry all that much about trying to achieve what peck has in any way shape or form. If by chance he smokes about 3 bowls a day he has enough tobacco to last him roughly about 90 years! Then again, maybe his parents somehow knew he would be a pipe smoker and started investing in a pipe tobacco cellar for him at his birth.
