Here's the only pipe I have that fits this category, a Nording "Special Rustic" 1/8 bent ball. This pipe does very well with flakes.

I have a unique hand-carved smooth bent ball done in Mountain Laurel with

delicate line etchings by the Colfax, North Carolina pipe carver Jerry Perry.

It's not a large or heavy pipe, but I think the bowl may be a Group 5.

I never have liked the Ball shape, but Petes03 you just changed my mind with that Nording. That pipe is stunning! I'm sure it does smoke some flakes like a champ!
