I spend all day with it open in front of me in my office. Then when I finally get out of my office I have a laptop with an air card mounted in my truck. Then when I finish the day, it's back to the computer in my office. Then an hour or two at home finishing up during my busy months.
So yeah. All damn day.
I ordered a new custom designed desk this year. It's awesome and really has helped out fatigue and back pain.

But, I invested in this adjustable computer stand. I'll try to take a picture of it.
Thanks - I am having trouble imagining it. My wife uses a bid, old drafting table - the kind Fred MacMurray used in My Three Sons or Mike Brady used in the Brady Bunch. :)
It's tall and can be used standing or sitting in an elevated chair. The great thing about it is that it's huge. We use large monitors, so it helps.

I'm a full-time freelance writer. Before that, a staff editor with various trade and textbook publishers. I've essentially lived my entire working life in front of a computer.
These day, though, since I work at home, I tend to write in the mornings and then spend the rest of the day on marketing or brainstorming, which I often do while standing and smoking a pipe out in the garage.

can you be my trainer
Absolutely, I'll work for 12yr old scotch and FVF of equal age
My next project, if nothing changes, will be a new building so I'll office in a construction trailor. I've thought of some sort of counter high desk for that office. Right now I'm officing in an existing one in the hospital, which could be worse, when this job started the hospital wanted to put the superintendant I replaced in the old morgue to office...

12 years in IT, with another 10 years of general office work before that, almost all computer-related. Have owned my own PC since the x386 days, and spend more time than I like to admit playing on the computer after work is over. One more reason that I like to take a break and go outside to smoke. :puffy:

I'm a lawyer, so I spend most days at my desk. Spend about 70% of that on the phone or in client meetings. I work from home a day or two a week, and when I do, I try to ride the exercise bike for 45 minutes or so. Need to do more.

I'm retired. I play, read and smoke my pipe in front of the computer, especially in the Winter.

I'm an ebay seller, have been full time for last 3 years. I spend 8 or more hours a day at my computer, I try to get up and move around about every hour. The plus side is I work from home and smoke in my office so I get plenty of pipe smoking every day. :puffy:

I used to, then I went back to driving a truck. My arms don't tingle like they used to.....so that's nice. My massages used to be quite painful.

I use a computer to provide backing tracks at solo gigs, plus to record any sized gig....but normally the computer is behind me!

I'm an owner of an Independent Insurance Agency. Everything we do is in front of the monitor of our computers. Personally, I spend about six hours per day at the computer and then there is the time on this Forum in the evenings!
