Sometimes I do... Sometimes I don't.
I like to learn my own lessons. But thank you for another great read Kevin and Mr. Pease.

I noticed I need more relights when I smoke a pipe too many times without a rest. Of course, I do smoke aros and drug store blends sometimes and it could just be goop overload.

I have 8 pipes. 1 for each day of the week plus 1 that has never been smoked ( a clay). I don't know if 6 days is enough but its what they get. I may smoke 3 bowls or 10 that day all in the same pipe. Then on to the next pipe tomnorrow.

I have 7 pipes in my rotation. Sometimes I will use 2 in one day, but I almost always get a few days off for each pipe. I totally agree that a well rested pipe is worth the wait!!! I do tend to abuse my cob on weekends. :nana:

Seems like the only practical reason to not rest your pipe is if you are on a trip or something and only have one pipe with you. If you have multiple pipes why not rest?
