they do regulate all food and even what they can call them. The regulations on ketchup are much thicker then you'd think. Including what spellings you can use (catch-up is in there)

If they were any thicker we'd have to call ketchup a tomato

If you want pizza to suck and ultimately fail on multiple levels - let the government regulate it. Also plan to spend three times as much or more.
