We had our second dose of Pfizer on Saturday, March 20, the same outdoor venue hockey arena parking lot, but much more crowded, and better organized, with the National Guard helping out, along with firefighters on overtime and plenty of nurses, and many lanes of cars moving through. According to the L.A. Times, younger folks get more side effects because of their robust immune systems, but old folks like us who don't get any side effects still get the benefit. No sore arm, no nothing, for either of us. I finally learned that the second dose is exactly the same drug in the same amount. I was glad to see a hot red Chevy Camero with its big V-8 burbling in the adjoining lane, the kind of lively young soul who might consider the vaccine beneath his dignity, there along with his wife/girlfriend. Good man. Do it for the grandparents.

Somewhere in this vast universe
just a note. I got my shots at a clinic where I spend about half my week sitting in a uncomforatable chair with various tubes hooked up to me. Something to do with a bad brain or dissapeared kidneys, I don't remember.
As the were giving my neighbor his shot, the nurse began telling him that he had to carry his innoculation card wherever he went in case anybody asked if he'd recieived the shots.
I was surprised, and piped up that absolutly no one except doctors and caregivers can ask anything to do with your medical status, as per federal HIPPA laws .
She was taken aback and said something to the effect of tihis is different. I said that unless a law has been passed to over ride HIPPA, it still stood and we're not required to answer that to anyone. After that she just walked away.

I don't know about you but that's pretty concerning to me - I know 'no politics' but this is very troubling to me especially since last I was taught USA is a Democratic Republic not the Soviet Union or Weimar 1938
"Papers!" ...Hogan, I know Nutheeng, Nutheeng!
