That's just as well rosewood makes for a lousy pipe! Brier is far far superior! Mine is very loosey goosey at the tenon it would seem it went the other extreme...

I'm actually tempted to buy this pipe, even if it ends up on the shelf. The wood grain on the photo is sooo funky. :lol:

By the way, the wood allergies chart at http://www.wood-database.com/wood-articles/wood-allergies-and-toxicity/ is interesting to say the least. All types of rosewood are 4-star-potent and irritant to the touch. "Rosewood" as in "most common material for guitar fretboards, that millions of people touch every day" (me included, and I'm allergic to many things). Strange...
