Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows

So, finally the new Holmes will be out in theaters Friday. Just curious who all is planning on seeing it this weekend, and who all will be puffing away on some Peterson's Sherlock Holmes blend once or more that day?

I liked the first Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr ... and I was kinda expecting it to be a Hollywood-suckfest. They did modernize it (even though it was still set in proper Sherlock Holmes era), but somehow it still worked.
I don't know if I can bring myself to shell out $10-12 to see it, though.
If I'm going to see a movie over the holidays, that'll be it.

I'll be going to see it at some point during the holidays. Not sure what I'll smoke but it'll be dark and heavy, like the movie.

Having enjoyed the 1st one with Downey as Holmes, I look forward to this one.

I'll wait for it to be available on Netflix or the like though. Can't stand movie theaters any more.

I don't mind the movie theaters. It's those idiots that talk and text on their cellphone during the movie that I can't stand. Can't say that I think Holmes would even have a bowl of Sherlock Holmes lol. He'd probably be puffing away on some dottle of an English blend ten times stronger than Nightcap. But I like it, a mostly Virginia blend with a bit of Burley to offset the heat. Just seemed fitting to me for that day.

I've had Black Shag by McClelland, but not by Cornell & Diehl. The McClelland version is pretty harsh at first, but mellows out during the 2nd half of the bowl.

I will be there! I'll have a Dunnie in my pocket to suck on during the movie. (yeah sure, it sounds weird but at least half of us will have a pipe with us for the movie, even if we can't smoke it)

well i don't know if i will go and pay for the movie, but i will see it when i can get it on u-verse then i can some one of my sherlock homes series of 7 pipes i have 5 of the 7 and bidding on one right now.. the tobacco ???? not sure but with a glass of famaos grouse scotch, it will be great movie!! love the first one!!

Thoughts? I just got home from the film and greatly enjoyed it--especially the last 20 min or so!!!
Thoughts on the pipes? Very fancy church he had. I'd like a better look at the tiny pipe from the train sequence.

Also did you notice the pivotal role his pipes played in the climax of BOTH films? That's cool also.
