I did not know Johnny Paycheck was in Faron's band. Learned something new today!

In a sense, by learning a fun little fact, I think I am answered; knowledge is to be shared. I want people to enjoy this hobby as much I do. If I can help, I will. If I can't, then I am quiet and listen. Part of the joy of this forum is having a group to share knowledge and experiences about piping in the first place. It would be injurious to myself as well as to a newbie to make them "jump through hoops" when they ask for help.

A bit of both. I'm happy to share info sites like pipephil or pipedia. And I may offer some deeper info. That's why I created the Ken Barnes post archives. But when it comes to something as basic as "How do I clean my pipe" I think that it's no great effort to ferret out that information on one's own. Doing a Google search with "pipesmagazine.com" and some version of "pipe cleaning and maintenance" will lead to the hundreds of threads already available on the topic.

Quite a few of the famous singles of the golden era of country music were really duets, with a little known artist singing close harmony on the chorus.
