Hello everyone, I just wanted to share a recent poker that I made. This is not completely finished yet, as I am waiting for my black delrin to come in so that I can use it for my tenon. This is also the very first stem that I have ever carved and it is made from lucite. Let me know what you all think! Happy smoking.

From what I can see, this looks excellent. Well done!
The grain is perfectly matched to the overall shape and the two plauteaus are quite appealing. I can see what you mean about wanting to use a black Delrin tenon, but I think you did a fine job! Do a search on "Larrysson Tree Stump pipes" and you'll find something similar.
A small point... as the stem angles up (not parallel to the ground) this is actually a "Cherry Wood" shape (even though it's made from briar) rather than a "Poker".

Thanks Deleon!

Very nicely done! I love the shape, and the grain is beautiful as well. Looks like it would have a nice feel in the hand as well.
