Had a quick version of Thanksgiving this year. With death of mother in law, we decided to order the side dishes. Turkey was cooked by my wife, so she didn't rest much. But, it was as good as every year.
The bird is missing a wing. That went to the girls (old, old puppies) with other trimmings.
Other dishes didn't make it to the table yet.

Beautiful family. Glad to hear you had a great Thanksgiving together. Love your sons backyard setup it's a lot like my wife wants me to magically build lol. Happy Thanksgiving!

Squirrel patrol this morning - the three dogs that are visiting were playing in the basement!
It's not letting me upload my picture for some reason. But I made a pumpkin pie on wensday I don't have any pictures of the full spread of things as I purposely left my phone in the car so I would visit and not be glued to it all day yesterday.
None of the older boys got to be home for Thanksgiving, but my mother-in-law joined us. My favorite picture from the day was me and my youngest, who was "helping" smoke the meats. 
Another year of two dinners. Dinner 1 with the in-laws at 12:00, and dinner 2 at 5:00 at my parents. Lots of great food, and I'm still stuffed. Enjoyed a nice Triple Leaf Cigar - Double Toro Maduro.
Really enjoyed the new great-niece.

Wife posts pictures of grandkids on the wall, they love it.
I love the photo mugs hanging under the cabinet. I have 5 photo mugs of our grandsons. I use one everyday. I'll never part from them.
They make for a great gift for my parents and the in-laws. They love getting them, and my parents use them regularly.
Usually I help my daughter in the kitchen, but this Thanksgiving I has watching the baby. After dinner my daughter said, "Thanks dad for holding the baby, you made Thanksgiving dinner possible." Perhaps not quite true but made me melt anyway.
