4noggins.com had tinned Full Virginia Flakes, it was gone in less than 48 hours.
Why are people smoking this like crack?

Are they in stock at your local stores? There aren't many pipe tobacco stores around here, cigarette retailers are common, quality tobacco aren't appreciated.

FVF is very good; but IMO, very overrated. Same for Stonehaven.

Both SG and Esoterica make other wonderful blends that are easier to find.

It's worse than that. While crackheads will sell their soul for another rock, at least they don't hoard the stuff to the point that others can't get their fix.

I got some FVF bulk a few months ago and I am really enjoying it. I only have one tin in my cellar and I m not likely getting more soon, but that is just because I m still in that stage where trying many different tobaccos seems very exciting.

Roth, I know you have problems with FVF but I never have. It does take a while to dry properly, but I have found that my tobacco lamp gets it there in about 30 minutes. Every smoke I have of FVF is delicious.

Sam's Medium Virginia Flake is available in 50 gram tins, but it's not called Medium Virginia Flake, it's called Golden Glow.
Golden Glow is identical to MVF, except the GG is large pieces of broken flake.
No $h**! I had no idea.
Hehe -- now that the cat's out of the proverbial bag, Pitch, if you want any Golden Glow, you probably need to move fast -- there'll likely be a run on it.
LOL! Probably.

I've got three tins of the stuff, havent tried any of it yet. The only Gawith blend I have tried is Squadron Leader and found it to be pretty good, sort of similar in flavor to EMP. I also have tins of St. James Flake, Golden Glow, and Best Brown. Damn, looking at that list maybe I should get around to trying one of these pretty soon.

You can't find it, unfinished, because of what is known in the business as Tobacco Stockpiling in front of the coming Tobaccaclypse. I've given up on FVF and SJF. I've moved on (in my head, at least).
Now that Roth has let the tobacco cat out of the bag, I'll have to move on again from GG. Damn. I thought I had that one all to myself.
Thanks, Roth.
