Just a word to the wise, back pain with out a cause or out of the ordinary can be a symptom of something more serious.
Three years ago I had a pain in my mid back that wouldn't go away and ached for a few days made it tough to sleep, I finally went a saw the Dr. she order some tests and said she wanted me to get some tests for my heart. It turns out I had had a heart attack and my LAD was 100% clogged.

I had back surgery a couple of years ago and so far so good. I hurt mine playing too much tennis and now I have to be careful. Still have a ton of stenosis in there but am pain free right now. I had a great neurosurgeon and he really changed my life.
Hope you get yours fixed up Puffy, nothing worse than back pain.

Wow, it's a bit eerie seeing this topic. I did a lot of going deep in a pool on the 4th of July, and have had "sciatica" since. It usually goes away in a few days but this has lingered, with pretty intense hamstring cramps. Just lessening up tonight. Could it be that being 62 has anything to do with it?

Thanks all, be well, my thoughts are with you afflicted in a serious way.
David
