Hi,

I've been thinking of buying a a handmade 9mm Italian pipe. I came across this particular Ser Jacopo on Al Pascia site. It's a reasonable size at around a Group 5. Anyone familiar with the line? Does Ser Jacopo make a well engineered 9mm pipe (thinking Vauen here)? It seems reasonable at around $275 shipped. Al Pascia has a 10% discount now on Ser Jacopo. Yep, top notch materials, exacting workmanship.
Im sure they can make a bad pipe but I imagine there are few.

I have a few that are La Fuma which still has the SJ name but they are seconds.
Even if there is a single fill on a smooth pipe it will become a la fuma.
I dont like fills but if I will tollerate it for a new price of 175 vs 450 for no fills
