Hi Jim,
Will do, I'm sure their paths have crossed,the USMC is a small world, especially artillery. We visited Andy at Lawton but spent most of the weekend in Oklahoma City. I'll send a txt this morning; cell phone communication is sporadic when he's in the field. One of these days we'll visit him in Hawaii; the problem is that during the last 2 years I don't think he's been there more then three months total. He'll been leaving Fuji soon if not already, and return to Okinawa for another 4 months then to Korea. They pretty much come home for a few weeks, pack up and go again. I'm sure Ben is with a good group of guys, I'll ask Andy if he knows anyone else in 1/10.

I'm so sorry I missed your latest post. Would you please PM your email address so we can do a better job of staying in touch?
Ben reports in a few hours to Camp Lejeune and is currently couch surfing with an Osprey pilot and his Lab bitch. (A connection from Quantico. Marines move in a very small world, indeed.) And Ben has fallen in love with that dog.
Ben: "Dad, you grew up with Labs. Why didn't we?"
Me: "Ask your mother, Ben."
Susie: "I only want small dogs that don't shed."
Me: "SWMBO, Ben. Pick your battles, kiddo, when you can."
