Just opened up a box of Semois burley from a few years back. Grabbed a bowls worth of tobacco from the pouch and picked this out! 3/4 of this box are stems. Guess I shouldn't have went for the "thick cut"

I'm told that the stems and veins have the most nicotine. Those birds-eyes have an amusing sizzle and crackle when they burn, reminiscent of clove cigarettes. Sigh...
I've heard that as well. Also that it's good for grinding up and using as snuff.
They're tobacco, smoke them.
I think, particularly in Semois, these bits are nice
You could try putting it in a coffee grinder for a few bursts to break it down before smoking it. It might help it burn better.
it will burn fine without that. With the level of dryness they have it will burn fine.
The leaf ribs are awesome.
You can just use a record album to sort the stems from the smoke bowl material and if thereās any seeds in it, those will come out as well.

Funny, I was just going to comment that that many stems usually came with as many seeds. And that I found āBig Bambuā to be a great spring tray.
Back to the topic, I need to try some semois, as like high N but the Rustica varieties donāt jive with my mouth chemistry.
