I agree wholeheartedly - it's a huge investment in time to learn the trends, markets, and players. The fees add up as well. This is sort of a one-time thing for me however, as I'm not a trader, just trying to liquidate most of my collection. Then I'm only going to watch for the occasional estate pipe steal and play with reconditioning a little bit.
In the meantime, I really thought Savinelli Autographs would attract more attention. I guess Savinelli just made too many of them over the years. Not sure I'll part with the rest of them now.
