This all came from one collection (and I couldn’t photograph half of it.

The cigarette tobacco my Dad smoked for most of his life and the cigars he often smoked were in that half of the collection. In fairness, a lot of the old standards were there. Quite the images, the Twin Jaks Mixture jar is a nice piece.

I'm torn. It's interesting to see old stuff, but on the other hand, that's a lot of junk.

No, I didn’t. They even had a couple of unopened tins but from names I didn’t recognize.

But one could easily say that about anyone's pipe collection, or really collection of anything.

Someone spent a long time getting all that together.

Cool stuff. Look closely at the third photo. Can anyone else see the ghosts? Right above the SWR...a ghost pipe with smoke, just to the right of the pipe...a child and just to the right of the child...Mark Twain facing the child. Spooky ?

Yeah, I don't believe in ghosts and spirits. "Ghosts" is more entertaining.

That's the thing. I don't know if someone made a choice to diligently collect them, or was just too slothful to throw things away.
